Life happens, and here in Colorado, the weather loves to keep us on our toes. Rescheduling is totally okay and often necessary, especially with how unpredictable the weather can be. If the forecast looks questionable on the day of your session, I'll reach out that morning so we can chat and come up with a solid backup plan together. My goal is always to ensure we have the best light, the best vibe, and the most enjoyable experience possible.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Absolutely!  I love when furry family members join in! Pets are more than welcome to be a part of your session so long as the location allows for pets to be present. Let me know right away if you intend to bring your pet so I can ensure we find the best location that is pet friendly. Since you know your pets best, I kindly ask that you manage them throughout the session. Bring treats, their favorite toys and other items to keep them occupied throughout the session. My goal is always to ensure everyone stays safe, relaxed and fully part of the moment - including your four-legged companions.

Can we bring our pets?

I am a real human and a boy mom.... and I know life happens! If an illness, emergency, or unexpected situation comes up, please don't hesitate to reach out. I will do my best to reschedule your session at the earliest available date. If I'm feeling unwell or concerned about spreading germs, I will be upfront and let you know as soon as possible. If that happens, we will reschedule at the earliest possible available date. Your health, comfort and peace of mind are always a priority.

What happens if i need to reschedule?

When will i get my photos?

You will receive and email with a link to your online gallery approximately 2-3 weeks after your session. If you need the gallery more quickly, I can deliver the gallery sooner with an additional expediated fee. Reach out to me for details. 

Can we add a family session to the high school senior session?

Yes - and this is one of my most popular add-ons!
I'd love to include your family at the end of your senior's session for an additional fee of $250. This will add about 30 minutes to your session. You will also receive approximately 20 more fully edited and retouched family images, delivered in your final gallery alongside the senior portraits. It is a beautiful way to celebrate this milestone - not just for your senior but for the people who helped them get to the finish line!

Do you offer prints and products? 

Your online gallery will also come with the option of ordering prints and products. There is something timeless and special about holding a photo in your hands or seeing it hung on the walls of your home. I hope my great-grandchildren appreciate the tangible magic of a printed photograph. I hope they gather with their loved ones to turn through the pages of an heirloom photo album, running their fingers over the pages and piecing together where they came from. While all of my sessions come with the high-resolution images, you will also have access to my online store. You can order directly from the gallery and even share the link with loved ones to order their own prints and products.

when is the best time of year to get high school senior photos done?

Summer is the sweet spot - especially in June! Getting your senior photos done before the school year starts is a smart (and stress-free) move, In June, the grass is still lush, the wildflowers are in bloom, and the golden summer sun hasn't dried everything out yet. It is truly one of the most beautiful times to shoot in Colorado. Most high schools have yearbook photos deadlines in October or November, so booking early ensure you will have your images in plenty of time. Even if you are not worried about submitting a yearbook photo, summer offers more flexibility in scheduling before the busy school year kicks off. Once classes, sports, and college applications start taking over, it can be much harder to find time for a session. Plus, don't forget to factor in time for your photographer (hi, that's me!) to process, edit, and delivery your gallery - that part takes time, time. So if you are hoping for the best light, the best landscapes, and the least amount of stress,,,, summer is your season!

With just a few clicks, you will receive a custom style board with coordinated outfit suggestions and direct shopping links to affordable retailers. You will also get a visual guide you can use to pull simitar pieces from your own closet - no need to purchase all new clothing (unless you want to)! Where will my session take place?

I have a long list of incredible locations ready to go - from epic mountain views and golden fields to urban corners and hidden gems. I would love to pull out the perfect location for your session. To get started, it will be helpful if you share with me any of the scenery on my website that caught your eye. Are you picturing yourself in a field, standing in the snow, classic Colorado red rocks in the background? Or do you feel most comfortable in an urban location, surrounded by street lights or building murals, architecture and the bustle of the city? Seasons matter, too. Are you a fall lover like me (cue the fall-smelling candles, cozy sweaters and colorful fall leaves)? Or maybe you are envisioning a snowy landscape straight out of a Colorado postcard? Even if you just want something simple and timeless, I can find you a spot that captures your vibe and makes you feel at ease.

Book your photography session is super simple. Ready to book? Just lock in your session date and time HERE on my calendar. Once you get on the calendar, sign the contract, pay the non-refundable retainer, you are all set! If you have questions, you can reach out to me through the contact form HERE so we can chat and get your questions answered. To reserve your session, a non-refundable retained of $200 is due at the time of bo0king with the remaining balance due on the day of your session. That is all there is to it!
